This is a mixed level two week Pottery Wheel Throwing course taught in tandem, two students to one instructor. Each session is two hours, once a week, taught at my studio in Simpsonville, in Whitehall Plantation. This course is for both students who are beginners or have some whee experience.
Adults and kids Ages 10 and up are welcome.
Session dates: Saturday May 2 and May 9
10:00-12:00pm
Session 1: Pottery basics, making bowls
Session 2: Cylinders, mugs with a handle
*At the end of the two sessions students will select their glazes and pieces will be glazed by staff.
Pick up of glaze fired pieces will be approximately 2-3 weeks after final class. Price includes instruction, tools and materials, clay, glazes, and kiln firing fees.
Classes are taught by a certified SC art educator with twenty years teaching experience. **Classes are non-refundable, and cannot be cancelled or exchanged after enrollment.
