This is a special TWO DAY adult workshop where you will make both a guided watercolor landscape on paper, then the same landscape on a clay tile. Workshop dates are 5/1 and 5/15 from 6-8pm.

What to expect:
Day 1 on 5/1: Students will construct one 8 × 10 sized tile out of clay, and let it dry to be fired. When done, students will create an 8 × 10 painted mountain landscape using watercolor on paper. Students will have a choice of two various mountainscapes to paint.
Day 2 on 5/15 Students will get back their bisque fired tile, and glaze their tile to represent the same mountain landscape they painted in session 1. Students will be using underglazes that will act as “paint” on the clay surface.
No prior experience is necessary, all levels are welcome. This workshop is for adults and kids over 12 years old. When workshops are completed, and all clay projects are fired, students will have two projects to take home. Pick up of landscape clay tile will be approximately two weeks later, after glaze firing.
Price includes instruction, painting supplies, watercolor paper, ceramic tools, clay, underglazes, and kiln firing fees. Workshops are all small group, maximum 7 participants.
