This is an amazing 1.5 workshop where students will construct and glaze a small six inch plate and apply a red vintage strawberry decal to the surface. This piece will be made using handbuilding which is a process of constructing with clay without use of the pottery wheel.

What are underglaze decals? They are like wallpaper pattern that you apply to the surface of a freshly handmade pottery piece. (see images) They are very user friendly and no prior experience is necessary to participate in the workshop.

This workshop is for adults and kids over 12 years old.

After pieces are completed, they will need to be dried and fire in the kiln.

**Pick up of completed glazed fired pieces will be ready 2-3 weeks after the workshop.** Price includes instruction, ceramic tools, clay, glazes, and kiln firing fees. Workshops are all small group, maximum 7 participants. When fully complete, pieces are functional, food safe, and ready to use.
