This is a drop in clay class for kids (6-13)!
Each student will be making one hand textured snowflake candle holder using the slabbing clay technique, and have the option of adding additive to the snowflake. When done, they will underglaze the snowflake candleholder using a variety of blues and whites as options.
This is a DROP IN class, so feel free to arrive anytime within the classes time frame, the project will take approximately 1-1.5 hours to complete.
*Just keep in mind if you arrive after 4:00 the student won’t have much time to complete their creations.
About the instructor: Dianna is a Certified SC K-12 art teacher with her undergraduate degree in Art Education, and Master’s degree in Education, with twenty years of teaching experience. Dianna has worked as a public educator, and is background checked and fingerprinted as per SC Certification.
