Want to try the pottery wheel to see if you’d like it? Do you know how to throw on the wheel already and want to have a someone learn with you? This is the class for you!

In this two hour Pottery Wheel Introduction class, you’ll learn the basics of throwing on the wheel, and you’ll make approximately two e bowls in your time. When done, you will select your glaze color, and your pieces will be ready for pick up about two weeks later. Pieces will be glazed by staff. After this introductory course, a four week pottery wheel level 1 course can be taken.

Classes are taught in tandem, two students at a time with one instructor. Adults and kids age 9 and up are welcome.

Price is for one participant and includes instruction, tools and materials, clay, glazes, and kiln firing fees. Classes are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.

About the instructor: Dianna is a Certified SC K-12 art teacher with her undergraduate degree in Art Education, and Master’s degree in Education with twenty years of teaching experience.
