This is a drop in clay class for kids (6-13)!
Each student will be making one small Pikachu dish inspired by Pokemon’s designs and colors! Students will roll out the clay using the slabbing method, then add form to the Pikachu dish and it’s ears. When done, they will underglaze the dish in Pikachu’s signature yellow and red glaze colors.
This is a DROP IN class, so feel free to arrive anytime within the classes time frame, the project will take approximately an hour for each student to complete. *Just keep in mind if you arrive after 5:00 the student won’t have much time to complete their creations.
About the instructor: Dianna is a Certified SC K-12 art teacher with her undergraduate degree in Art Education, and Master’s degree in Education, with twenty years of teaching experience. Dianna has worked as a public educator, and is background checked and fingerprinted as per SC Certification.
