This is an amazing two hour workshop where students will construct and glaze one medium sized Mediterranean style bowl or plate. This piece will be made using the slab handbuilidng method which is a process of constructing with clay without the use of the pottery wheel.

What to expect: Students will make a medium sized bowl or plate out of clay, then apply a bright Mediterranean inspired glaze to the surface such as yellow, yellow-orange, or cobalt blue, emphasizing striped patterning.

No prior experience is necessary, all levels are welcome. This workshop is for adults and kids over 12 years old.

After pieces are completed, they will need to be dried and fire in the kiln.

**Pick up of completed glazed fired pieces will be ready 2-3 weeks after the workshop.** Price includes instruction, ceramic tools, clay, glazes, and kiln firing fees. Workshops are all small group, maximum 7 participants. When fully complete, pieces are functional, food safe, and ready to use.
