Class Date: Thursday 11/12 6:00-8:00pm
This charcuterie plate workshop is a perfect fit for anyone that loves to host! Each participant will be making one medium sized modern charcuterie plate using the slab handbuliding technique and a lot of clay. Regular glaze will be applied by staff after the project is bisque fired. Glaze options will be geared towards natural tones such as beiges and grays, with three different glaze color options available to chose.
After pieces are completed, they will need to be dried, bisque fired, clear glazed, and glaze fired by staff. *These are a little larger than a normal pottery piece, and they will need more time to dry and be fired. Projects are not guaranteed for pick up by Thanksgiving.
Pick up of completed glazed fired pieces will be ready about 3 weeks after the workshop. Price includes instruction, ceramic tools, clay, glazes, and kiln firing fees. Workshops are all small group, maximum 7 participants. When fully complete, pieces are functional, food safe, and ready to use.
