This is a special SUMMER drop in clay class for kids (6-13)!

Each student will be making one medium sized textured sea creature such as a seahorse or fish. These sea creatures will be flat, and made using the clay slabbing process, and applied textures. They will also be assembled with a hook to be hung on the wall if desired. When construction is complete, students will select their glaze color and the teacher will apply their glaze.

When fully complete, projects will be collected, dried, and fired in the kiln. Picked up is approximately two weeks later.

This is a DROP IN class, so feel free to arrive anytime within the classes time frame, the project will take approximately 1 hours for each student to complete. *Just keep in mind if you arrive to close to 5:00, the student won’t have much time to complete both pieces of this set.

About the instructor: Dianna is a Certified SC K-12 art teacher with her undergraduate degree in Art Education, and Master’s degree in Education, with twenty years of teaching experience. Dianna has worked as a public educator for years, and is background/fingerprinted as per SC Certification.
