(5 spots left) Week 2 Kids Clay Camp: "All About The Texture" July 13-17 9:30-11:00am

$195.00

This week long camp specializes in everything inspired by the texture! We will learn about ancient Mayan culture, how to hand carve and impress custom textures into clay, and make trendy textures tic tac toe boards! Camp is Monday through Friday 9:30-11:00am from June 8-12. There will be music and some snacks provided.

Examples of projects: Mayan footed bowls, Textured bowls, Yarn plates, and Clay Tic Tac Toe boards.

Cost includes materials, clay, glaze, tools, kiln firing fees and instruction. Ages 6-13 are welcome. The clay used for these projects is real clay, not air dry materials. The project will be constructed, glazed, dried, and fired in the kiln when complete. Pick up of student work is approximately 2-3 weeks after the final day of camp.

Clay camp is taught by Dianna, a certified SC K-12 Art Educator with 20 years teaching experience. She is background checked and fingerprinted as per state regulations. Studio is located at Fullerton Ct. Simpsonvile in Whitehall Plantation. (more details will be emailed after enrollment)
