This is a two day kids clay class for ages 6-12 on Wednesdays 7/15 and 7/22 at 12:30pm. Class runs for about 1 hour, and this is a handbuilding (non wheel) class taught in small group-no more than eight kids. This is not a drop in style class.
One project will be made each session, projects made will be: Colorful Coil Cupcakes, and Clay Textured Surf Boards
Cost includes materials, clay, glaze, tools, kiln firing fees and instruction, no experience necessary. The clay used for these projects is real clay, not air dry materials. During the class, the students construct and glaze their creations. Pick up of student work is approximately 2-3 weeks after the final class.
Clay classes are taught by Dianna, a certified SC K-12 Art Educator with 20 years teaching experience. She is background checked and fingerprinted as per state regulations. Studio is located at Fullerton Ct. Simpsonville in Whitehall Plantation. (more details will be emailed after enrollment)
