This is a drop in clay class for kids (6-13)!
Each student will be making one medium size egg splatter plate using the clay slabbing technique and applying multiple layers of underglaze to the egg to get a “Splatter” effect. Students will allow their egg plates to dry, then apply a base underglaze color to it, then splatter their accent color on top.
This is a DROP IN class, so feel free to arrive anytime within the classes time frame, the project will take approximately 1-1.5 hours to complete.
*Just keep in mind if you arrive after 4:00 the student won’t have much time to complete their creations.
About the instructor: Dianna is a Certified SC K-12 art teacher with her undergraduate degree in Art Education, and Master’s degree in Education, with twenty years of teaching experience. Dianna has worked as a public educator, and is background checked and fingerprinted as per SC Certification.
