This is a special drop in clay class for kids (6-13)!

In this class each student will be making one small handmade coil vase. Students will constructing their project using the coiling method. Projects are handmade out of fresh piece of clay.

When constructed, students will select their glaze color, and it will be applied by the teacher. When complete, projects will be collected, dried, glazed and fired in the kiln. Picked up is approximately two weeks later.

This is a DROP IN class, so feel free to arrive anytime within the classes time frame, the project will take approximately an hour for each student to complete. *Just keep in mind if you arrive to close to 5:00, the student won’t have much time to complete their creations.

About the instructor: Dianna is a Certified SC K-12 art teacher with her undergraduate degree in Art Education, and Master’s degree in Education, with twenty years of teaching experience. Dianna has worked as a public educator, and is background checked and fingerprinted as per SC Certification.
