This is a drop in clay class for kids (6-13)!
Each student will be making one small heart shaped flat plate using the coiling technique. Various coiling techniques will be explored, and students will be able chose the coils they want to build for their heart plate.
When done, they will underglaze the the flat heart plate, and have the following underglaze colors available: Pink, Purple, Red, Blue, Deep Yellow
This is a DROP IN class, so feel free to arrive anytime within the classes time frame, the project will take approximately 1-1.5 hours to complete.
*Just keep in mind if you arrive after 4:00 the student won’t have much time to complete their creations.
About the instructor: Dianna is a Certified SC K-12 art teacher with her undergraduate degree in Art Education, and Master’s degree in Education, with twenty years of teaching experience. Dianna has worked as a public educator, and is background checked and fingerprinted as per SC Certification.
