THIS IS NOT A DROP IN STYLE CLASS
Each student will be making one clay landscape using the clay slabbing method, and sculpting the landscape features of their choices. The idea of creating texture on clay will be discussed, and holes will be made to hang. When construction is complete, students can apply underglazes to their creations.
This class starts at 10:00am. The project will take approximately 1-1.5 hours to complete. Each piece will be then dried, bisque, and glaze fired by staff, pick up is 2-3 weeks after class.
About the instructor: Dianna is a Certified SC K-12 art teacher with her undergraduate degree in Art Education, and Master’s degree in Education, with twenty years of teaching experience. Dianna has worked as a public educator, and is background checked and fingerprinted as per SC Certification.
