Want to try out bubble glazing? Then this workshop is for you!
In this special two day workshop you will make a slab built bowl session 1, then session 2 you will apply your bubble glaze to the bowls surface. Bubble glaze colors options are: Dark Blue, Merlot, and Medium blue. (see image #1)
If you’ve already taken this workshop in the past, you can take it again! You will have the option of making a medium sized plate, mug, or another bowl using the same bubble glaze technique. Beginners/first timers will be making bowls.
Class Dates: Saturday 7/18 and 8/1 10:00am-12:00pm
After pieces are completed, they will need to be glazed fired in the kiln, pick up is approximately two weeks after final class.
Price includes instruction, ceramic tools, clay, glazes, and kiln firing fees. Workshops are all small group, maximum 7 participants. When fully complete, pieces are functional, food safe, and ready to use.
Class are taught in my studio at Whitehall Plantation, Fullerton Ct. Simpsonville, SC.
